Heirloom Quilt - Queen Size - 97x97 - Made to Order
Antique "Rob Peter to Pay Paul" Pattern

The pictured quilt sold for the highest amount ever reached at a recent charity auction for which I made it. I have enough of the same fabric to recreate it exactly as shown for you, or am very happy to work in colors of your choice -- and you don’t have to fend off other bidders to get it!

I updated the antique quilt pattern “Rob Peter to Pay Paul” by teaming a top quality Kona Bay cotton print of blended blue shades with a wonderful ivory tone-on-tone vine print. Then I turned the pattern “on point” to give visual movement and lively interest.

It was professionally quilted by longarm quilting artist annsquiltnstuff, who turned it into a work of art with exquisite quilted feathers on the top, flowers and butterflies along the borders. Ann has graciously agreed to do the same for your quilt.

The same ivory fabric as the front was used on the back. The traditionally handsewn double-fold binding frames the quilt in a coordinating mottled blue. This quilt is 100% natural cotton -- all from the highest quality fabric, cotton batting and premium thread.
Dimensions: approximately 97” x 97”

Best care of such a quilt is to gentle machine wash in cool water. Line or flat dry, though some prefer to tumble dry until damp before finishing by hanging or lying flat.

Ready to get started on your quilt? Let’s work together! Feel free to contact me with any questions. Payment plan is available if desired, breaking price into 4 payments (with the first payment being nonrefundable). Allow approximately 6-8 weeks for completion.

I look forward to working with you on your own custom quilt beauty!
