The Strange Loop is a video feedback FX designed for live performance.
I build each unit personally with a RPI 3 A+ and a custom control board with four potentiometers and two joysticks, all fitted in a custom laser cut enclosure.

It outputs either composite video (PAL/NTSC) or HDMI, and it can play clips stored on a USB key or you can input composite video via an ezcap device (included).

It comes with 4 different feedback modes based on different shaders affecting the video loop happening in the device; you can cycle trough the feedback modes and the loaded videos by clicking the joysticks.

If you know Open GL you can also easily modify the GLES shaders or add more by editing the code and thus personalize the effects generated by the device.
