This XL knitting / crochet project bag is big enough to fit an aran weight sweater project. With the wide flat bottom and the sturdy support of medium weight fabric, interfacing and heavy lining, it will stand on its own so it's easier for you to dig in!
The bag is made with Studio G's medium weight cotton Elephants print. It is trimmed with a solid color waxed canvas (water repellent) bottom and fully lined with sturdy weight natural color 12oz cotton duck. There are 2 inside pockets making it easier for you to find your knitting gadgets. The zipper closure at top extends beyond the bag so it can be opened wide. The D ring on the outside of the bag is to accommodate the matching detachable strap that will come with the bag.

Due to the large scale of the fabric design, placement of the print will vary on each bag.
The last 2 photos are stock pictures. One shows the bag filled with 5 skeins of 100 gram worsted weight yarn; note there is lots of room to spare. The last picture is me holding the same size bag to show proportion. It is not the bag that will be shipped.
Care: The wax canvas that is used on the bottom of the bag is known for its premium quality. The wax on the canvas creates the rugged texture look that you see on the fabric of the bag. It is highly recommended that waxed canvas NOT be washed as that will take the wax finish off. A periodic spot cleaning with a damp cloth is all that is needed. If you do decide to wash your bag, please know you will lose the benefits of the waxed coating on the bottom portion of the bag.
