ITEM DETAILS

This listing is for 1 standard grade hard enamel pin.
- Size: 40 mm at longest side. (Approx. 1.6 inches)
- Choice between polished gold plating and polished white nickel plating
- 2 clasps
- Stylized class name embossed on the back of the pin under my logo
- Shipped with rubber backs on a sturdy backing card to prevent damage. Will either arrive in clear cellophane sleeve or white semi-transparent glassine bag. (My shop is transitioning to glassine bags to reduce plastic usage.)
- Designed and illustrated by doize.

For the gold plated pin, the enamel color is black.
For the white nickel plated pin, the enamel color is blue for the cleric. (Each pin in this series has a different color for the white nickel variant.)

PIN GRADING/QUALITY
The production of hard enamel pins involves many steps, including the application of each hard enamel color by hand. Due to this production process, varying quality levels can exist within each batch of enamel pins. In order to ensure that you are receiving a product that you are happy with, I personally inspect each enamel pin and separate them based on a grading scale that is detailed below. This will allow you to determine which price & quality combination works best for you. Unless otherwise noted, all etsy product photos display Standard grade pins.

STANDARD GRADE
These pins are the highest grade pin I offer. They may have **minor flaws upon close inspection** detailed below. These flaws are only noticeable upon close inspection or when the light hits the enamel pin at a certain angle. These minor imperfections are not noticeable by most individuals and do not detract from the overall appearance of the pin.
- Tiny specks of discoloration in enamel or metal
- Small scratches in the enamel or metal
- Areas underfilled with enamel in areas that are not major (only in detailed pins)
- Very tiny spaces not filled with enamel (applies to very detailed designs)

SECONDS GRADE (Imperfect pins)
These pins have some imperfections that are noticeable that are listed below. I still exclude pins (Grade F) from this category that are so incredibly flawed that I don’t feel comfortable selling them even at a discount.
Imperfections can include:
- Multiple minor imperfections listed in the standard grade section
- Large discolorations of the metal
- Wrong enamel colors
- Areas of missing enamel
- Very wobbly posts

Seconds grade pins are clearance items. **All sales are final** You cannot choose the type of flaw the pin may have. Pin may have a different backing card than the one pictured.

GRADE F
Include a comment/note in your order if you would like one of these included in your order, free of charge, while supplies last. The pin will be a random pin of my choosing from my stock. These pins have very major flaws that greatly detract from the overall appearance such as major areas missing enamel or major areas with the wrong enamel color in areas that are visually important. Some of these pins were plated incorrectly and have visible rust.
