This rare beautiful square dinner plate was made by George Jones & Sons in 1880. The Pattern is "Almond" with birds and dark brown tree branches covered in blossoms, so beautifully done on Earthenware.

The Backstamp is a cresent moon under the GJ (George Jones) with & Sons in the cresent moon, and marks are Embossed beside this backstamp(shown in pictures).

The plate has a chip on the rim of the bottom of the plate and crazing both back and front. Also there is a tight crack in the center back of the plate. There is discoloration, especially in the crazing on the front right corner as expected with a 130 year old antique plate, but otherwise in beautiful condition, No chips or cracks on the front. What amazing artwork on this beautiful old piece. Size: almost 8¼ square 1" deep.

Insurance is included in the shipping.
