Our thought lives are crucial to finding joy this side of Heaven. Everything we do stems from a thought process — whether it’s bad or good, trivial or monumental.

So why is it we don’t pay much attention to our thoughts? Instead, we tend to let them run wild. The truth is you can control your thoughts! It’s true. And the more you practice thinking positively, the more your brain will do it automatically.

We’re going to go through 30 days of simple, specific exercises to uncover our thinking strongholds, say goodbye to negativity and begin a thought life full of gratitude and joy!

This book is for both men and women.

Each day has a concise devotional, meditation verse and related to the challenge.

Each week has a theme:
- Saying goodbye to negativity
- Losing strongholds
- Focusing on truth
- Learning gratitude

You can print off the calendar and tape it to your fridge so you don’t forget the challenge for the day and also you don’t forget what you’ve learned so far.

There are five pages in the back with space for each challenge so you can write what you’ve learned about yourself during the exercise. It’s an extra step, but I think it will teach you more about your thinking habits. It would also be helpful to see how far you’ve come if you do the challenge again in a year from now!

A grateful heart is a happy heart. It’s the anecdote to anxiety. Gratitude to the Lord for all He has done for you can guard your heart against lies, jealousy and deception.

After the thought journal, I’ve included a page for your thanksgiving list. Add to it as you see fit throughout the study. Sometimes I find them most helpful on the hard days.

There is a link on in the back of the book to a downloadable PDF version. You can print the entire book or only the Thought and Gratitude Journals, as you see fit. It can go in a binder or clipboard. I like the clipboard so I can hang it up with the correct day on top.
