Handmade Peruvian Sipibo Huayruro seed Protective Necklace. Made by our family in the rainforest. Protective as well as decorative.
Total length approx 28cm with bead fastening.
The Huayruro plant is native to Peru, and has been an important part of Peruvian culture for centuries. Huayruro seeds are found in pods in the tall trees of the Peruvian rainforest. The red and black seeds are said to bring good fortune and abundance, while warding off negative energy. The mixture of black and red on the seeds is also said to bring balance of the feminine and masculine energies.
This is my personal collection gathered over many years of travelling and working in Peru. All sales proceeds from this shop are going towards building an eco village and Temple to Nature in the heart of the Peruvian rainforest. Please support.

It is very nice but I thought the seeds were slightly bigger and the necklace longer. The necklace is short but actually I like even like that
