Materials

cotton, silk

Every time I look at this dress, I start singing, "The hills are alive... with the sound of music..." It is such a romantic dress that I envision it being perfect for a Sound of Music themed wedding, or any other that was casual and romantic.

This is a very well-made dress with pockets on the front, an empire waist and long sleeves. It is a very heavily draped cotton, I believe, with a muslin backing.

Measurements:
bust: 35"

Please note: with an empire waist, the bust and the underbust are the important measurements. This dress fits a size 4 dress form easily.

Label: none

Condition: the only issue I see is that some of the trim is frayed at the edges.

Dating information: 70s or later 60s

fabric information: burn test was done and it seems to be silk or a silk cotton blend.

Ships to: Just ask. I can probably ship to your country.
Seller note:
I ship everything in plastic in order to protect against accidents during transit. This means that your item might be more wrinkled than it would if it were shipped in tissue, but it gives it far more protection.

Many of my listings’ pictures will super-duper size so you can see the detail of the fabric.
