This vintage Pfaltzgraff art pottery planter is from the 30s, from my research after the 40s they only made dinnerware. The bottom is ink stamped The Pfaltzgraff Pottery Co. in a circle, the center of the circle says York, PA and is 151 is scratched in the bottom. Nice ribbed design, 2 tone matte glaze.

I called it purple and green, but purple is a pink/lavender and the green is aqua blue/green. They are done in a mid tone with very faint speckles, the interior is all of the pinkish purple color.

6" across and 3 1/2" high. There is a very slight, really almost undetectable hairline crack at the top for about 1". Very usable with a plant or just as a decorative pottery piece.
