These Tea Tree & Cedarwood Shampoo Bars are an earth friendly alternative to bottles of shampoo. They are great for travel, since they don't count toward a fluid limit for flights. The scent is a warm yet energizing combination of Tea Tree and Cedarwood Essential Oils. All of our shampoo bars are Fragrance Oil free and rely only on the Essential Oils for fragrance. Everything made by Pacific Northwest Soapery is Natural, Responsibly Sourced, Cruelty Free, and Vegan. Each batch is slightly different in design since every single one is made by hand, however the ingredients remain the same.

These bars were designed with the following Essential Oils to impart specific benefits for your hair:
Tea Tree Essential Oil: Has powerful cleansing, antibacterial, and antimicrobial properties. Can help unplug hair follicles and increase hair growth. Commonly used in anti-dandruff treatment products.
Cedarwood Essential Oil: Thought to promote hair growth and reduce hair loss by balancing the oil-producing glands in the scalp. It also has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties, which can treat different conditions that may contribute to dandruff or hair loss.

How to use:
Saturate hair with water. Rub the shampoo bar on your hair (concentrate on the scalp and head only). With your hands agitate your scalp and hair until a luxurious lather forms. Rinse your hair.

I suggest using conditioner after these shampoo bars if you have longer hair because they do leave your hair very, very clean and for ease of brushing that conditioning is helpful.

Make sure to store your shampoo bar in an area of your shower that is a little dryer; ie: outside the shower flow, in order to make the bar last longer.

These bars should last at least 4 weeks, but with proper storage and depending on usage can last longer.

If you don't get lather, or you notice the bars are just not lathering as much in your hair, do an apple cider vinegar rinse on your hair.
