A very interesting glass ladle, primitive yet elegant, though I'm not quite sure about its use. It has a very heavy glass cup on the end and a black wooden handle that is attached with a screw. From my research, it may have been used for dry measure or as a water dipper. The rim of the glass cup is flat, so it could enclose a special object for display when turned upside down.

In good vintage condition with some wear marks to the black paint on the handle and some tiny chips to the inside rim of the cup.

13 1/2" long
3" inside diameter of the glass cup
