From a series called “Traveler”, this industrial landscape is inspired by the mind state of journeys far and near. Portals, gates, trains, sky, the glimpse from the window as scenes overlay with memory and time and possibility expands. This series of multiple exposure images begins in my phone as a glimpse of “something” – captured in a split second and later reflected upon. Back in the studio I refine the imagery and after hours of iterations and experiments create the final work as fine-grained limited edition prints. This image was originally captured through the blurred window of the Coast Starlight train just outside of Portland.
Canvas prints are gallery wrapped and allow the work to float without glass or impingement in an urban interior. All prints are meticulously proofed by me personally. Prints on paper (Hahnemühle German Etching) are signed and numbered on the front, just below the image edge, and canvas is signed on the back support braces. All prints are created using archival pigment inks rated to last for 100 years or more. The prints come with a certificate of authenticity verifying the edition number and the edition size. Prints are sold unframed.

I reached Iskra and was able to coordinate a purchase of a limited edition print. She was extremely responsive and I was able to setup an in person pickup. Not only were the cards gorgeous and of higher quality than I expected, Iskra added many little touches to the packaging of this order that made the experience of opening it a treat for me, before even beginning to write on the cards. Her art and design sensibility complement one another, and clearly go hand and hand with her professionalism and attention to customer delight. I look forward to needing more cards, and to giving my friends the same pleasure I myself enjoyed in opening my package from her. These note cards are just beautiful and of such a high quality! They are beyond my expectations! I was thrilled at how quickly they arrived after placing my order and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the workmanship and just the joy of the beauty they hold.
