Slow Feed Hay Net Topper: 100-150 Gallon Tank, Woven Polypropylene

Slow feed hay nets made out of woven polypropylene netting (knotless netting). These are our original design and built in our East Tennessee workshop.

Attaches with elastic, uses cord ties or zip ties that hold the net in place on 3 sides, 3 buckles in the front for easy opening to refill

You are purchasing JUST THE TOPPER NET, you must have your own tanks. Fits either 100 gal or 150 gal Rubber Maid type tanks.
For reference: The 150 gal rubber maid tank is 25"H x 39"W x 58"L and The 100 gal are 25"H x 31"W x 52"L.


3/4" Black only - use caution with this net, many horses have a really hard time with 3/4" holes when the netting lays flat on the hay

NOTICE: Extra caution required with the 3" mesh holes as smaller hooves that can get caught in the netting if its draping over the side . See the tips and tricks for toppers in the photos.

You will need to supply tank and drill for putting attachment holes in tank sides.

Highly recommend you drill numerous drain holes in the bottom of your tank to release any rain water that can accumulate. You may want to anchor or weight your tank so the horses cannot toss it around.


Marine grade elastic shock cord helps hold the netting in place, just release the 3 front buckles and pull the elastic up to refill the feeder . When done filling, pull netting back over the tank lip and connect the front buckles.



Keep in mind with any net type product and horses, due diligence by purchaser is required to insure horse cannot get caught in net (halter clip, blanket clips & shoes are the biggest culprits). There is no warranty implied or expressed for damage to nets from being used. Some horses can destroy anything!

Inspect the net regularly for holes or tears, Discontinue use if bag gets damaged beyond repair.

UNUSED Nets are sold in the USA eligible for return/Exchange IF you notify us within 14 days of receipt - USED PRODUCTS ARE NOT RETURNABLE, if you ignore this policy you will not be refunded. Any returns that are soiled at all from trying it on tanks are subject to a $10 minimum cleaning fee Make sure returns are COMPLETELY CLEAN and all pieces/parts are returned with the exception of zip ties if they were used to try on tub. If parts other than zip ties are missing you will be charged for those parts accordingly.

NOTE: International shipments will be shipped VIA UPS (DDU - delivered duty unpaid) . Buyer is responsible for all import fees . USPS can be used at actual ship cost (which is normally significantly higher that our listed ship costs).
