This 48-inch wide, 38-inch long unused vintage barkcloth era fabric piece has four beautiful bouquets of pink, white, and rose-colored peonies and one smaller flower cluster on a lovely dark blue background. Each bouquet is about 15 inches high and wide. I consider it barkcloth, but I am not sure if it is technically barkcloth. It is a linen-like weave (see third photo, which shows the back, where the texture is more discernible) but a drapery weight, heavier fabric than linen. The last photo shows the entire piece of fabric. The background is not quite navy blue, I would characterize it more as a bright navy. The style and colors have a very antique look about them. One selvage is marked "Design Kirkleigh" and "Guaranteed to be Vat Prints." The two bouquets at the top of the piece are right against the edge, and the very top of one is cut off (not my doing). Even so, the bouquets would be wonderful to use on pillows, totes, or in other projects. This is unused fabric, with both selvages in tact, and is in excellent condition, with no flaws or blemishes.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I am always happy to provide additional information about my items.
