This is a soft, smooth Habotai or China silk scarf. It's extremely soft and light to the touch but also can be very warming. It measures roughly 14" x 72" long (6').

The pattern is a "classic" circle in shibori - a technique used in manipulating cloth so that the dye is resisted creating a pattern. The blue is a natural indigo.

It was hand dyed in my home dye studio.

I came across this listing and requested a custom indigo overdye of some pale blue chinos I had... I was hoping for a hybrid between chinos/khakis and jeans. What I received was nothing short of amazing. Customer service and communication with the seller was amazing. The price and service rendered is beyond fair and the return shipping was very fast and nicely packaged. But most importantly the final product looks exactly how I imagined a custom, hand-dyed pair of pants would look, with slight color variations near seams and contrasting stitching and buttons where the dye didn't penetrate as well, lending a very rugged workwear and denim-like look. The blue color itself is amazing. I can't wait to hopefully get that indigo "fade" like jeans, and get more character with wear! HAPPY CUSTOMER.
