With soft and feminine colors, this sweet wall pocket vase in the likeness of a 19th century wash basin is sure to bring a bit of nostalgia to your cottage. This was created by the Cleminson's of California, a small Mom and Pop ceramic studio in southern California that was in production from the late1930's to the 50's. It's quiet colors of green, mauves and their trademark periwinkle blue over an ecru creamy base gives this a French country look also. Marked on the back.

Measurements are: 7 inches high by 8 3/4 inches wide at the bowl by 3 inches deep at the bowl.

Condition is very good, although there are stains from actual use and crazing, which is almost always seen in their pottery. There is a 1/2 inch chip on the back top but it doesn't show from the front. Also a couple teeny tiny flea bites on corners. No other damage, chips, cracks, repairs, hairlines, odors.
