The Mexico B&W Series
No. 7 - Kids on Reforma

This is an ACEO (Art Cards, Editions & Originals)

Seldom was I without my camera when I lived in Mexico City and most of the time I was walking somewhere. One of my favorite avenues was the famous Paseo de la Reforma where I took this shot. It was only several years after it had been transformed from a dirt lined thoroughfare to the red bricked sidewalks it now has and is and always has been one of the best spots in town for a stroll. When I saw these kids pass by I thought I might have a shot brewing but it didn't happen until finally just one of them paid attention to the funny gringo.

It was shot on Kodak Tri-X .

It is the seventh of a series of my historic black and white photography of Mexico in the '60s and '70s.

As it must, it measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is a signed and numbered edition.

ACEOs are growing in popularity and are an excellent way to acquire and enjoy the work of artists that may otherwise be prohibitive in price.
