This beautiful postcard is an excellent example of early American marketing. Published by Geo. E. Keith Co. Around 1910 they used their classic logo of a silhouette with in a shield to identify their company. Often (as in this case) the silhouette was of a woman but no matter who was featured there has always been a shoe in the back of those that I have researched.

Front features a scene from old America; A woman looking at a gentleman held in the stocks. Caption says "In the Stocks" along with the classic logo.

Back says "There are plenty of sadder, but few wiser men than Walk-Over Wearers." The card is unused and not cancelled.

Please note the picture and grading carefully.

This postcard is graded a 1.
