The Rolls Razor was Patented in England and Abroad, Imperial No. 2, Made in England by Rolls Razor Ltd., London. This one was made in the 1920s. It comes in the original box, which is worn, but still sturdy. On one side of the blade is inscribed "Best Sheffield Steel" and on the other is "Rolls Razor Pat. Nos. 224578 and 242718".

The Rolls safety-razor was introduced in 1927. If you can't afford a Rolls Royce car, you can afford this razor. The Rolls Razor was packaged well and came in a nickel plated box designed to allow the blade to be stropped or sharpened against the lid. It also had an advantage over the classic straight razor – a safety guard.

This Rolls Razor was definitely used - possibly by my grandfather. The nickel plating is in good shape and it appears to have all of its parts. The box shows normal wear. It includes both a short instruction card and booklet that includes great graphics and care and use instructions for English, Hollands, Francais, Deutsch, Italiano, Portugues, and Espanol. Overall this razor is in good vintage condition.

A great conversation piece and collectible.
