Project T-Scapes Art Book
Materials: paper, ink, marker
Project T-scapes is a series of drawings of Boston's 121 subway stations. Over the course of two years, I visited every stop on the Green, Orange, Red, and Blue lines and created a small marker sketch. Through this project I explored the capabilities of markers as a fine arts medium, I saw more of Boston than I ever had before, and I was fortunate enough to be featured in a variety of news media for my work.
At last, I am proud to present this complete body of art as a full color book.

Meilman captured these stations so iconically yet with her own perspective. I admire her diligence to amass drawings of ALL the stations. Bonus - it was packaged carefully and with recyclable material!
All of the artwork in this book is fabulous! I love seeing the depictions of every T station in the Boston area.
This book is beautiful. Each page is a separate vision of a T stop. As a Boston ex-pat, it is a wonderfully nostalgic, visually captivating journey through my past. I think Laura is a gifted artist and has created a remembrance that I will cherish.
Such an exciting culmination of your project. I'm glad to give M this more permanent remembrance of her time in Boston.
