Hurricane lamp in Gone with the Wind style. Antique oil lamps or lanterns are great decorator items. It has a hand painted porcelain glass globe bottom. Beautiful Victorian lighting is pink and green with open white roses and greenery.
It has an ornate reticulated metal footed base. Measures 15" tall (with globe) x 23" round (widest point); just lamp bottom is about 8" tall.
The screw on burner is marked White Flame Light Co Grand Rapides, MI. I found an Ad online on the White Flame Co dating back to 1915.

I purchased the lamp with the clear glass globe that is included. There is a hole in the bottom of the porcelain glass base so maybe at some point someone was trying to electrify it.
The metal base does not sit completely flat but you can not tell by looking at it.
It is being sold as is.
It is a beautiful hand painted porcelain glass oil lamp dating from 1915 and is a gorgeous display or photo prop. It is not in working order.
