The famous Aesop fable about the tortoise and the hare is captured in this small handmade porcelain teacup and saucer set. Original linocut images. The hare races endlessly around the surface of the mug leaving behind interesting textures while the tortoise crawls around the edge of the saucer.

This one of a kind set is wheel thrown, glazed in oribe and celadon for variety of fresh greens, and areas with flashes of orange. High-fired to 2380F degrees in a gas kiln. Durable, food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe.

Measures approximately:
(teacup) 4.5"w (including handle) x 2"h
(saucer) 4.5" diameter

Shipping and handling is $10.00 within the USA; significant overages will be promptly refunded. For everywhere else, please convo me for a quote.
