Set of 2 1980s vintage stoneware soup bowls with side handles, perfect for french onion soup, chili, or a really user-friendly cappucino. Beautifully glazed in tones of creamy flecked white, mocha, then espresso, caused by a double dip technique (possibly ash glaze with flecks of iron and brown temmoku glaze). High-fire, durable and sturdy clay. Extremely well made, with no extra clay and a sprung from the potter's wheel feeling.

without handles, 5" x 3"

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Potter's signature incised in the base. Oven safe.

vintage handmade soup bowls. 2 rustic stoneware crocks with handles / the 1980s CHEESE SOUP bowls
