I havn't made any crawly bugs in a while and I think I've missed them.
Each one is made by myself and often without a pattern.
Stuffed very firmly and tightly these little bugs or beetles,I think they are beetles are ready to add a little life to a quiet space.
A little bit new victorian,a little steampunk and a little bit handsome.
Made from a rescued vintage tablecloth he features beautiful hand stitched flowers.
Iron wire is threaded through at all the joints and these are locked together with buttons.
At home crawling across a bookshelf, being admired inside a bell jar or scurrying up a wall.
Flaws and odd stitching are celebrated and are to expected.
Stained with teas and inks give him a feeling of age and wear.
Designed as a decorative object he is both charming and utterly unique.
Can be hung simply from a ring on the reverse.
He will be sent out recorded so can be tracked and signed for on delivery.
Nothing I make is designed to be given to a child/baby as they are delicate items which contain wire and beads.
This beetles body is approx 4.5cm in width and approx length is 18cm (not including legs or antennae!)
Thanks for looking!
This listing is for one beetle., no photographic props are included.
