This is a painting in a continuing series, 100 Flowers in 100 Days, number 71. I am making a new Flower painting each day and posting it on Etsy, Facebook, and Instagram the same day. This piece is on Gessobord, 12” x 12” with sides painted so a frame is not necessary.
This is an original acrylic painting of a silvery green flower, the color is hard to describe, called a sea thistle, just the leaves. Someone picked the flower which is a pretty purple. These odd colored leaves are combined with some chartreuse green zinnias and one bright orange zinnia. Set in a clear bottle, this odd little combo works! On a turquoise background in various shades. I love painting glass and this is the third of these greenish bottles. Painting is varnished for extra protection and shine. Notched on back for hanging.

My grandmother used to collect elephants and since I was really close to her, I love elephants as well, as they remind me of her. I bought this print for my home office and I love that it serves as a reminder of my wonderful grandmother and is also modern and beautiful and fits in with my office decor perfectly! My only complaint is that it is a non-standard size for framing, so it requires custom framing, which can be really expensive. Other than that, I love it!

Oh how I love all the bunnies, and it was hard to just select two. This bunny IS coy! The frames I've ordered may come today and I can't wait to hang both bunnies on the wall. Great size, really nice paper and signed in front. Many thanks. I highly recommend this shop and it's highly talented artisan.
