The large emerald green jadeite cabochon is set along the finger for maximum visual impact - This is a truly glamorous jade and diamond statement ring! This rare untreated precious jadeite jade is surrounded by a geometric border or exceptional white natural diamonds. The diamonds are arranged and chosen for maximum sparkle with a very unique and gorgeous arrangement of tapered caliber cut baguettes, baguettes and round brilliant cuts that are set symmetrically in a stunning border to draw the eye to the exceptional emerald green jade.

The jade and diamond cluster measures 1" long by 5/8" wide and rises 7/16" high off the finger (25.0mm x 15.5mm x 10.3mm).

What just takes my breath away about this ring is the intense color and translucency of the jade cabochon. It is rare to see this fine gem quality even in a smaller stone and here your breath is simply taken away by the intense green...the high polish and the size of this precious rare gem! This divine natural emerald green jade cabochon measures 19.10mm long by 8.05mm wide by 2.62mm thick and weighs 4 carats.

In this precious untreated A Type jadeite jade cabochon we can see some variegation in color similar to jardins in an extra fine gem quality emerald. As the jade is very fine gem quality and so very translucent holding the jade up to the light with the light passing through shows the lovely and wonderful variegated color more so than when the ring is worn or in most lighting conditions where only a quite trained eye is likely to see this variegation. This is very fine gem quality A type jade - untreated jade this color and translucency is extremely rare and precious especially in such a lovely size cabochon!

There is 1 carat of VS/SI clarity F color natural earth mined untreated white diamonds set as accents.

The total jade and diamond weight is 5 carats.

Inside the shank it is marked 18K for 18 karat white gold, this confirmed by testing. The ring weighs 7.97 grams.

The beautiful jadeite jade in this handmade vintage ring is untreated. Apart from normal cutting and polishing it is as mined. These days most jade seen in modern rings has been acid treated, soaked in plastic resin and dyed. Untreated jade is immensely more valuable than modern treated jade. This precious jade is untreated and has been mined and polished only making this a wonderful choice for an engagement or anniversary ring to be passed down in the family to future generations.
