This is part of a series of cities and their airport codes, inspired by luggage tags and all those long layovers at various airports everywhere.

If you would like me to make a special "Up in the Air" MapArt with an airport of your choice, please let me know. I either use maps of the city itself, when available, or maps of the vicinity. I have thousands of antique maps.

One of my favourite airports in the US. The last photo shows an amusing advertisement I saw at the DEN airport. It says 'Accrue free airline pretzels and peanuts and you're just a few raisins away from trail mix."

An original one-of-a-kind, signed artwork, made using an 1899 map of Denver, hand-cut late 1950s to early 1960s illustration of an airplane, and hand-cut letters. All sides of the wooden block are painted black and sanded to give it a shabby chic finish.

This is a finely handcraft original one-of-a-kind, signed MapArt, made using genuine ephemera. Hang or stand upright.
