Protect your face and neck from sunburn 19th century style with this slat bonnet. The green and natural color cotton plaid fabric is cool and comfortable and the curtain or 'skirt' at the sides and back is long enough to shade you from the sun's harsh rays. The 15 removable slats are thin cardboard (or pasteboard as the Victorians would have called it), and provide nice shade for your face. A cotton drawstring at the back of the neck adjusts to fit you and your hair style. Soft comfortable fabric ties under your chin securely.

The slats are 6" long, and make a deep shade over your face. The curtain/skirt is 11" deep, and 42" wide (nice and full!).

To launder, remove the slats and set aside. Machine wash and dry, iron, put the slats back in place and you're ready to go!

100% hand made in my smoke-free home.
