The original "death note" from the well respected 1957 British horror film.

The rune writing on the parchment is as close to the version in the film as possible, brought up to date in colour and using proper, high quality parchment (canvas). The wooden frame is 30cm x 15cm and the parchment is 21cm x 4cm (approx). Available with or without the film name underneath.

The film itself was adapted from the M. R. James story "Casting the Runes" from 1911 and stars Dana Andrews, Peggy Cummins and Niall MacGinnis, directed by Jacques Tourneur. The note is written in runes which is supposed to bring forth a huge demon when secretly passed to the victim. In the US it was released under the name "Curse of the Demon".

Note: The parchment is aged, 'roughed up' and frayed deliberately to make it look more authentic. There is no glass in the frame so you can feel the parchment texture (and for safer shipping).

The Evri/Hermes courier will make three attempts to deliver your parcel. If nobody is available to accept and sign for delivery, they will leave a calling card to let you know when they will make their next attempt - which is usually the next working day.

If the courier is still unable to deliver the parcel and obtain a signature or proof-of-delivery after 3 attempts, you will need to pay the delivery charge again should you still want the item. Please get in touch for details.

So long as the item has not been personalised, we will accept requests for cancelling an order before it is shipped. We want our customers to be happy so would rather not send an item if it is not wanted.
If an item has been custom made and/or personalised then it cannot be resold so the order cannot be cancelled.
