A touch of class for anyone into sailing, old ships, admiralty, or world history!

And yet, I am reminded of the corny old Bazooka Joe bubble gum comic where a guy says, “Did you know the Spaniards came 2,000 miles on a Galleon?”
And Bazooka Joe says, “Don’t believe everything you hear about those foreign cars!”

This vintage hinged desk notepad holder is flat black metal with raised ‘gold’ sailing ship on the front panel. I made a fresh pad of blank paper to fit the inside spring hinged slot and found an illustration from a 1960’s Picture History of the World textbook to use as the front page.
Fits the theme beautifully, doesn’t it?

The bottom is still nicely cushioned with cork to protect your executive desk from random scratches. I like this sleek design, smooth and heavy, and the Spanish Galleon in relief is highly touchable for us ‘tactile’ folks.

The black paint has a few dings and scratches but that tells you it’s traveled around a bit and it’s ready for a new home.
