COULD PLAYING WITH A WOODEN TOY SURICATE / MEERKAT BE INTERESTING?

The more you know, the more interested you grow, so if adults wish to help their children enrich their play and stay focused for a longer time, they need to learn a bit about suricates / meerkats and share the knowledge with their children. There are even some children’s books they could read together. Both knowledge of the facts of nature and reading fiction vastly enrich open-ended play by providing it with scenarios to enact and encouraging children to create their own.

Suricates are not just the cute and comical animals we know from photos and videos. Their behavior is interesting to explore and enact. They dig into the ground to create their homes and sometimes share them with other species. They are brave hunters who could even kill and eat a scorpio (suricates are immune to the venom of some reptiles, but some of them do die of snakebites). Parents teach their children useful skills. They live in colonies and share their responsibilities when raising the young or hunting.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not soak in water. Wash each toy separately with soapy water with some vinegar. Rinse as quickly as possible. Immediately dry with a towel. Let air dry.
For disinfection you can use rubbing alcohol. We recommend spiritus aethylicus for medical purposes.
Do not put on or near heaters. Do not keep under direct sunshine for too long. Moisture and heat can cause warping and cracking in wood, so wooden products should not be exposed to these for too long.
When toys feel too dry, they need to be oiled and / or waxed. We recommend linseed oil and beeswax waxes. Other oils and waxes could be used too: mineral oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil. Vegans can use carnauba wax instead of beeswax.

Customers pay for the shipping of returned items.

If you have used the shipping methods we offer to receive the product from us, we will fully refund the shipping costs we paid to send you the item. If you have used a more expensive one than the standard one offered by us, you will bear the difference in cost between the two types of delivery.

TRACKING YOUR PACKAGE. We will provide you with a tracking number when we ship the item, so that you can follow your package online.

WRONG ADDRESS. If you notice you have given us a wrong address, contact us as soon as possible to provide us with the correct one. If the product ships to a wrong/nonexistent address, the package will most likely eventually be returned to us, and in certain cases we might have to pay for the return postage. If you want us to send you the package again to another address, you need to pay shipping charges again OR place a new order if you do not want to wait for the original package to be returned to us.

UNCLAIMED MAIL
If you fail to receive the product, we will refund the price of the product once we receive it back, but we will not refund the shipping costs.

LOST DELIVERY
In case of lost delivery, we will send you a refund once the postal service provider confirms the loss. Please, contact us if you believe your order has been lost.
