FACT AND FICTION:

FACT: I call this original oil painting on canvas TWO COOL DUDES. I found it at a thrift store, and was reminded of Matisse, the 60's and 70's those days, long ago, of transcendental meditation, experimental drugs, my rooftop apartment in Oakland, California. I love the finger vases giving a peace symbol finger gesture, the blue robes, the afros, the colors, the painting style.
The artist's name is illegible to me: Rastoy or Fostoy, but he wrote on the back "Why is the table empty?". This may be the title of the painting. He also made up a bogus appraisal certificate which comes with the painting. He was poking fun at his painting, but I think he was more talented than his bravado suggests.
I love this painting.
20" x 16"

FICTION; Like, Dude, why is your table empty?
Hey, Man. like my table only looks empty. Actually my table is full. The cosmos is filling my table with peace, love, and future sex. It's your table with the problem.
