Sir William Jardine (1800-1874), born in Scotland, was an eminent naturalist whose greatest work was the Naturalist's Library, a scientific account of the vertebrate kingdom which ultimately consisted of 40 volumes. Lavishly illustrated, these works of art are highly sought after by collectors and art and nature lovers to this day.

This book page, gleaned from a 1990's book, show illustrations from Jardine's publications circa 1833.
The 2 sided page shows Insects.
Approximately 12.125" x 9."

The pictures you see are my digital photos of the real book pages taken in natural light. Not a copy or a scan. You will be receiving the originals.

I will mail this page/s to you with a recycled cardboard back to prevent bending and folding while in transit.
