And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel’s kick and the wind’s song and the white sail’s shaking
And a gray mist on the sea’s face and a grey dawn breaking.
(“Sea-Fever”, by John Masefield)
The direction of the wind, the set of the sails, and a course charted for adventure – who has not dreamed of captaining a great vessel across at least one of the seven seas?
This handpainted indoor-outdoor pillow depicts the classic icon in shades of white on navy blue upholstery fabric. Measures 20”x20”, and about five inches thick at the center. Polyester fiberfill insert removes easily through the envelope closure on the reverse, and spot and spills clean up easily with just water and mild detergent, a spray of the garden hose, or gentle laundering; air dry.
Designed, painted, sewn, stuffed, signed and copyrighted on an island north of Seattle, where we enjoy the parade of passing vessels large and small.
