Contemporary handmade marble. Made from borosilicate glass and the manipulation of 99.999% pure silver fume and particles. When the marble is almost complete it is allowed to cool to 1000 deg. Fahrenheit then is brought back up to a specific temperature. This action "strikes" the silver producing blues, greens, yellows and white. As with all the Silver fume space marbles the little specks that you see are not bubbles but small balls of pure silver.

I used black glass along with the silver with this one. I still think the ones like this with the black in them are my favorites. Anyway this is another one where to do it justice you must see it in person. For one the black filaments are much more visible in person. The depth of the nebula is impressive as well. There is also a nice nebula in the background that you also cannot see in the pictures. Blues, blue-greens and a gray-violet. A lensed spiral galaxy on the back. Measures
1 7/8" in diameter. Signed and dated SC 2011
