I do my best to keep shipping quick and affordable for my customers while keeping items safe. Usually this is USPS first class mail within the US and USPS First Class International for the rest of the world. Items are shipped as soon as I am able, usually within 1-2 days.

I ship patterns in a plastic sleeve and in a photo mailer envelope. Fabric items (fabric, linens) are shipped in a plastic or bubble mailer or a box. Breakable or non-flat items are shipped in boxes with bubble wrap, etc for protection. If you have specific requests for packaging an item, please contact me prior to purchasing because this may require a higher shipping cost.

Please be sure that your address is correct prior to purchasing, buyer will be responsible for additional shipping costs if an item is returned to me for non-delivery. Likewise, I am not responsible for packages lost because an address was incorrect or incomplete.

I do my best to estimate shipping but if there is an overcharge of more than $1, I will reimburse the customer. You may contact me prior to purchasing if you would like a more exact shipping estimate.

All items shipped within the U.S. are shipped with delivery confirmation.

International customers are responsible for all import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. These fees and taxes and any additional charges for customs clearance are levied once a shipment reaches your country, and must be borne by the recipient. I have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Please be aware that when customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond my original delivery estimates. All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms, and will be marked as "merchandise" - not gifts, no exceptions.

If an item is returned because the buyer did not pay customs fees, etc required by their home country, I reserve the right to deduct a 15% restocking fee and shipping costs from the amount originally paid prior to any refund.
