Your one-of-a-kind unique pieces are completed by myself and then shipped off to an industrial plating and finishing company for the final finish plates. This allows the absolute highest industry standard plate of 3 microns on these one-of-a-kind pieces which is critical for longevity. This can create extended ship times as I need to work within the plating company's schedule. But we promise It will be worth the wait!

These rings are a lovely option for a bold statement mother's ring. I take great care in sorting through raw gemstones nipping and shaping each one to design an attractive one-of-a-kind clustered layout for each ring.

~ Choose your desired plated finish ~
All rings will begin as bare copper. This is the intricate process of fusing copper onto another medium using Chemistry and Electricity. A low voltage charge is passed through the materials in an electrolyte acid bath to create a copper relief over a 12-24 hour time period. Discovered in 1810 this was deemed a costly and exotic process primarily used by scientists like inventor Thomas Edison and famed physicist Michael Faraday.

In modern-day, the use of electroforming is still a rather exotic process in the jewelry arena due to specialized knowledge and equipment.

The rings are finished with a barrier plate of fine silver followed by your choice of Rose Gold, 24k gold, or Rhodium ( a silver-colored metal in the platinum family).

~ I've chosen copper as a finish will a copper ring turn my finger green? ~
Believe it or not, this does not happen to all people. Copper being a pure metal is extremely reactive to its environment. Particularly to higher PH values. If you have a body chemistry that is higher in PH then it is likely that you will experience the harmless though annoying green finger known as finger smudge with an unsealed copper ring. Others will never experience this at all and some people only sometimes as our body's PH constantly fluctuates with diet and lifestyle.

How can I tell what ring size I am?

Sizing is critical please do not guess while placing an order. The rings can NOT be resized due to the unique rare antiquated process ( from the 1800's) that they are made with. Because of this I offer ring sizer's to any client that needs one.

Place your order and type "SEND SIZER" in the area that requests you to enter ring size and Ill send a sizer right over!

How can I care for my Copper Jewelry?

Copper is a pure Metal therefore extremely reactive to oxidation and will darken over time. To help maintain the beauty of your copper pieces as they arrived we recommend the following procedure.

Cleaning: we love Love LOVE Connoisseurs brand Jewelry Wipes which are nontoxic to people pets and the environment. They can likely be purchased locally to you.

Polishing: After your ring is clean maintain the high shine with the complimentary Polishing chamois we provided with your order. If you need another one you may purchase another in the "Extras" Section of our shop.

Can I pick my stones?

We offer a multitude of custom options and When they request I work very hard with my clients one on one to design their perfect ring. I do often offer photos of raw stones to narrow down basic color variation options, However please understand the stones I use are raw and larger than what will be in your pieces and I often nip and shape them for my needs. For this reason I don't usually Show exact size and shape.

So what are your options? I suggest upgrading to the gold or Palladium finished rings. If you know you have trouble with copper Rose Gold should also be avoided as it is an alloy of Gold and Copper and will likely produce the same results.

This ring is even more beautiful in person! It’s a lot daintier than I thought it would be, which I really love. It was a gift for my best friend, and she loves it. The only thing is that the birthstones were two for December, and one for April, and they look very similar, so there isn’t a ton of juxtaposition with the colors, but that’s just a personal opinion. Overall the ring is gorgeous, and the seller was very available to answer questions and help with some decision making. Don’t hesitate to order! I just may have to get one for myself now!

I cannot begin to word how much I love my ring. I've ALWAYS wanted a mother's ring. I've never been able to find one that I like though. When I stumbled upon the shop and the rings that she makes I was so excited! My colors are hard to make pretty together but she did it! It's my favorite piece of jewelry and I get complimented on it constantly. I'll be buried in this ring. Lol! Thank you SO much.
