She is 19” tall with brown colored skin and brown embroidered eyes. She has baby doll body proportions designed to fit commercially made baby clothing in size "Newborn".

She was sewn from high quality 100% cotton skin-colored jersey. Her hair is made of black mohair. The head is made with knit fabric of 100 % cotton, sculpted in the traditional Waldorf method and stuffed with cleaned sheep's wool (see more details below). The cheeks are blushed with non-toxic beeswax. The body, arms, and legs are also stuffed with wool stuffing making a soft and warm doll with a nice weight.

All clothes can be removed and dressed again.

Netchie dolls are handmade with love, one at a time, by me, using high quality materials that have been tested and are non toxic. The art of creating these dolls by hand makes every doll unique. The doll can be redressed to portray a boy on request.

Handmade in my smoke free home that is free of air fresheners or scented candles. The dolls are handcrafted and all materials are stored appropriately in an upstairs room. Doll materials are purchased from Weir Crafts and certified safe.

Netchie Dolls are stuffed with high quality, U.S.A grown wool is blended specifically for extra softness and resilience. 30% organic content. OKEO TEK certified Standard 100, guaranteed to be free of harmful or toxic substances.

• PROPER GRAZING METHODS: Growers rotate pastures to prevent overgrazing and soil erosion. Proper grazing creates a higher quality wool and protects the health of the sheep
• PREDATOR FRIENDLY: Trained sheep dogs guard the flock. Natural predators are not poisoned, trapped, or shot.
• HEALTHY VETERINARY PRACTICES: Only certain kinds of medications and supplements can be used to treat the sheep. Sheep raised in open pastures are healthier and require less vet care.
• FIELDS PROTECTED FROM PESTICIDES: No use of herbicides and pesticides on fields where the sheep will be grazing. Wool is spot tested to ensure that no harmful chemicals have been used.
• OPPOSE CHEMICAL PROCESSING OF THE WOOL: This wool is not carbonized (dipped in strong acid to dissolve residual matter), dipped (at many farms, sheep are dipped in pesticides), or bleached.
• SHEEP FRIENDLY: Highly skilled shearing crews trained to shear the sheep with as much care and as harmlessly as possible.

This seller usually responds within a few hours.

Touch up small stain areas with soap and water and scrub with a toothbrush.

When the doll is ready for a complete bath, fill a basin with cool water and a mild soap. Wrap any long loose hair styles in a nylon stocking to prevent matting and felting. Immerse the doll and gently suds the soil away, scrubbing extra dirty areas with a toothbrush.

Be careful not to rub the hair. Rinse the doll in cool water, and BLOT excess moisture with a towel - do not wring. Re-shape the doll as necessary and dry flat on a towel, face up, away from heat.
