Listed is a beautiful wooden icon of Mary Magdalena – a saint of defiant hope. Equal-to-the-apostles.

Mary Magdalene, sometimes called simply the Magdalene or the Madeleine, was a Jewish woman who, according to the four canonical gospels, traveled with Jesus as one of his followers and was a witness to his crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.
She is mentioned by name 12 times in the canonical gospels, more than most of the apostles and more than any other non-family woman in the Gospels. According to many mainstream scholars, Mary's epithet Magdalene may mean that she came from the town of Magdala, a fishing town on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, however this ignores the long-standing tradition of Mary Magdalene being known as the “watchtower” of the early movement.

I ordered a handful of items from this shop, so I'll be combining my thoughts into one review :^) All of the items were packed so delicately and thoughtfully, there was no way there was going to be a breakage or spillage of the items, and I greatly appreciated that. Everything came in one piece and just what I was expecting and more. The icons are such high quality and the gold gilding is so beautiful I can't take my eyes off of them from across the room. The resin incense is such high quality, I wish I could light it every day to smell the aroma. I highly recommend ordering from this store. The seller is incredibly kind and cares for his products. He makes it a goal to make sure you have the best experience, I can tell. Ordering from this store is worth every penny and the long wait (from Russia to Ohio!). Thank you so much!!
