Here's a striking oval china bowl whose lovely shape is decorative as well as functional as a serving piece. The abundant gold accents add dimension to the soft aqua color of the piece. See the Victorian-Renaissance 'courtship' scenes of a man serenading a woman - it's unusual to see a series like this compared to just one image.

Measuring 10" long x 3-3/4" wide, the vintage piece is in excellent overall condition besides a chip on the rim. A bit of aqua or gold touch-up paint could help; hand wash only. The partial foil tag tells me it's Made in Japan after the 1920's; gold lettering 598-G is imprinted on the bottom. Similar to an Arnart piece from the 50's...the quality of this bowl speaks for itself!

As a FYI, USPS charges a bit more for shipments to Alaska or Hawaii than listed. If you're interested in International delivery from the USA, pls contact us for Current rates to your destination.
