The Argus C3 was produced from 1939 to 1966 by Argus in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. It was a top-selling 35mm camera for almost 30 years, and helped popularize the 35mm format. It has been fondly nicknamed "The Brick" due to its boxy shape and heft.

The body of the Argus C3 measures approximately 5 1/8"l by 1 7/8"d by 3"h. The lens protrudes about 7/8" from the body. The body features a textured leatherette finish on the face and back, with smooth Bakelite along the sides. Chrome accents on the edges give the camera a sharp look. The camera has dual viewfinders. The lens reads "3.5 50mm Argus Coated Cintar" and a label inside the camera reads "Argus Incorporated; Ann Arbor, Michigan, Des. Pat 110,516; Pat Applied For; Part 14226." An aluminum lens cap fits snugly over the lens.

This camera is in great condition. There is some light wear to the body, particularly around the edges, and some age-expected blemishes here and there, but no specific flaws to note.

Please keep in mind, this camera is being sold as a display piece. It has not been tested and may or may not be functional.
