Item details

Vintage from the 1970s

A complete stunner of a dress by Radley of London, in one of their most Ossie Clark-influenced designs, using the same black moss crepe they were also using for his Radley designs. Made in a very Thirties/Forties style, with gathered halterneck bodice and flowing maxi skirt, this is the kind of effortless dress you can make your own with accessories and platform shoes!

Bust 34-36" approx due to style - Waist is a shade under 28" - Hips 38" - Length 60"

Moss crepe

Very good. No fading. There are a few mended holes, a miniscule one on one hip and three around the lower half of a side seam. There are also quite a few picks and scuffs around the lower half of the dress, which suggests to me that most of this is damage from wear (getting caught on bushes or pebbledash, who knows what was going on at these parties!!). There's some iron shine on the inside of the neckline which obviously isn't visible when worn. Because it's all black on black, I really don't think these issues are very noticeable. Sold as vintage.
