Classic early 1930s dress pattern for day or evening -- Advance 1014

Circa 1933. Very early Advance pattern.

Women's, misses' and juniors' frock. Slim dress, with puff, flutter cap, or long sleeves, may be made in day or evening length. (Given the covered shoulders and lack of décolletage, I believe the long version would have been considered an afternoon or dinner dress.) Angled sectioning in skirt may be echoed in bodice. Use contrast fabric to bring out the geometric seaming detail.
(See envelope photo for full description.)

Vintage size 14, pre-'56 old sizing (bust 32" - hip 35")

10 unprinted, perforated pattern pieces. Complete with instructions. **Short sleeve piece has extensive old tape, which was used to reattach puff sleeve section. Envelope is worn, with brown spot across illustration, tears to the flap and a couple splits along the right front.
