Vintage threader, made in West Germany (marked on bottom), probably 1940s - 50s. Cute red and white plastic with it's own little red thimble. Manufactured by Hexe Einfadel.

Here's how it works:

Lay thread across the groove behind the funnel. Insert the needle, eye down, into the funnel.

Press white button firmly and release. A small loop of thread will be pushed through the funnel and come out the other side. Pull this loop of thread until the thread end comes out.

Lift needle and it will be threaded!

Use cutter at back of threader to cut the desired length.

It works perfectly!
