Vintage Mod White Enamel on Metal Scroll Bookends ... Made in England, Pair

Funky clean-lined bookends for your mid-century home. Interesting design allowing you to simply place the books between the two ends, or add them between the side and the tightly wound scroll. The spring-like rolled-up end has a strong, umm, resistance but uncurls and extends out, allowing you to hold about 20" worth of books.

The sticker shown says "Made in England," and seems strangely matched to the design of the piece, but I found them with one sticker on the bottom of each.

Green felt bases help hold them in place.

Great vintage condition. Barely any scuffs, scrapes or dings. One small chunk of enamel is missing inside one of the scrolls, as shown.

Each piece measures 6" tall and 5" wide at base, tapering to the top. Scroll is 27" when fully extended.

Listing is for the pair.
