Item details

Vintage from the 1920s

This is a Noritake china dish, a pierced handle small bowl with a richly colored and excellently proportioned hand painted water and foliage landscape scene. Its green bottom mark with the Morimura "M" mark dates this piece to the 1920s Art Deco Period.

You could of course use this little treasure for many small serving functions, but my preference would be to use it purely as a decorative item displayed on a simple easel on a shelf or console piece.

6.24"w x 6.5"w x 1.385"h Excellent condition -- only a minor bit of handling wear to the left edge (visible in the photos). It is a very collectible china piece, and as this dish approaches 100 years old it becomes even more collectible, in addition to its innate value as a fine piece of china art. It makes a great gift for yourself as well as a very affordable collectible gift for a special friend or relative.
