I drew a series of parisian-inspired 'postcards', which are meant to look slightly 1950s in style, and printed them in Itaglio oil-based printing ink. I printed one in a lovely bright blue and one in Madder Lake, to vary the style a little. It was a lot of fun drawing the pictures and making them fit as a series.

They are postcard size prints with a nice margin of soft Arches 300gsm etching paper - it is acid free and will not yellow or fade with age.

This one is a lovely cake shop ("Chez Duprey" - I invented the name and its catchphrase) with lots of nice French cakes and pastries and a little dog looking up at them (and probably drooling - or maybe thinking of a way to steal one). Although they are a 1950s inspired set of pictures I did the cake prices in euros, just to be contemporary! Thanks for looking.
