Item details

Vintage from the 1980s

This creamy white English Ironstone salt and pepper shaker pair were made by England's highly respected and popular Johnson Brothers Company. They are part of Johnson. Bros.'s Heritage White pattern of durable ironstone dish ware.

These are a very simple design whose distinctive simple embossed beaded border coordinates with the same border on most of the pieces in the Heritage white pattern. However, it is also simple enough that this pair will blend easily with almost all other white as well as patterned dishware.

This pair bears the familiar "made in England" incised mark on the bottom of each shaker. The plastic stoppers are in tact and not even stained from use with pepper inside. It seems quite possible that these have never been used.

These shakers measures approx: 4" tall x 3" wide at their widest point, and they are in beautiful vintage condition -- perfect for your home or a great gift for another, especially folks fond of farmhouse and cottage decor.
