This hand painted porcelain inkwell tray or stand from Germany was made by KPM in the early 1900's. The Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur (KPM) Berlin began in 1763 and was given its name by Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. It is one of the oldest and best known producers of fine German porcelain.

The attached saucer base with scalloped gold gilt and iron red edging is hand painted with typical floral sprays and butterflies.

The base is without chips, cracks, discoloration or crazing. Excellent condition. The underside is marked with the royal blue berlin sceptre and red orb with the initials: K.P.M.
The small cover has a rim chip (seen from under the rim) and has a repair. The gold gilt decoration is excellent on both pieces.
Sold as is, in vintage condition, as noted, with repaired cover.. Please ask all questions prior to purchasing. Reduced from $65.00

Measurements: 7 1/2" base diameter, 3 1/4" top diameter, cap is 1 5/8" at base.

Selling and shipping within the continental USA via USPS Priority mail. Always happy to combine purchases for discounted shipping charges. Just convo me with your zip code prior to check out.
