All glass dishware is purchased from the store and we engrave them in house. As with any glassware you buy it may not be 100% free of blemishes although we do try and look through them to purchase the best ones for our customers :)

The lettering is etched into the glass on the bottom. Since the lettering is etched in it will not make a difference in the longevity of the lettering it will still last through countless uses in the oven and dishwasher without coming off at all.
